Lake County Record-Bee “LAKEPORT >> Just weeks following initial pushback of President Trump’s administration policies, residents again rallied at Museum Park to vigorously voice staunch opposition to the president’s agenda as even more turned out, 250 to proclaim their discontent.
There are many more things to protest than even a month ago pointed out organizer Marie Schrader. “The two most important occurrences were the meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy (Ukraine president) and President Trump, and the tariffs that started today, (Tuesday),” Schrader said. “The Canadians will reciprocate with their own tariffs. In fact, some northern (U.S.) states get their power from Canada, and Canada may shut them off- we’ll see how powerful this is.”
