Thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who contributed to our fabulous dessert auction fundraiser!
November 16 was the date of our 32nd Annual Legislators BBQ & Dessert Auction. Seats were sold out, food was terrific, and the desserts were tremendous.
A huge thank you to the support from our elected officials, our Union supporters, our fabulous bakers, and our wonderful volunteers. We could not have done this with out all of you!
Money raised goes directly back into to our Lake County Community.
- $500 raised from the Auction of American Flag that flew over the Capitol, and will go to Clear Lake Gleaners.
- $500 raised from the auction of the “Best Friends” Forever Cake will go to the Lake Family Resource Center
- $250 raised from the View over Anderson Marsh Painting will go to Kno’Qoti Native Wellness, Inc.
Lake County Democrats are working at the local level for policies that benefit all members of our community. Monies we raise support:
- Providing representation for over 14,000 registered Democrats in Lake County;
- Advocating at the local, state, and federal levels for Lake County;
- Providing local democratic grassroots organizing;
- Recruiting, supporting, and endorsing Democratic candidates for public office.
- We’ve been very successful at getting democrats elected to local office in Lake County;
- Registering & informing voters and encouraging election day turnout;
- Sending delegates to state level functions;
- Having a presence at local fairs, events, and activities to spread our democratic message;
- Hosting a quarterly social, open to all voters, to encourage cross party communication & cooperation;
- Providing a place for great like-minded people to come together.
