The most urgent issue on the horizon is Food Insecurity. Numerous LCDCC members and local organizations have stepped up efforts to keep local food banks and food giveaways stocked with non-perishable goods. Please reach out to Clear Lake Gleaners (707) 263-8082, Redwood Empire Food Bank (707) 523-7900, and Lake County Social Services, to find distribution dates and locations. Many distribution events repeat monthly.
Able to donate food? Sign up for A Simple Gesture‘s Green Bag Pickup program. You fill the bag, they’ll pick it up.
