The Lake County DCC Annual Legislators’ BBQ was a rousing success!! Our honored guests included U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson, State Sen. (and President Pro Tem Designee) Mike McGuire, Assemblymember (and Assembly Speaker Pro Tem) Cecilia Aguiar-Curry, state Treasurer Fiona Ma and several local elected officials. The event was held Nov. 5, 2023, at Obsidian Middle School in Clearlake, raising more than $25,000 to help support the party and local candidates in nonpartisan races.
It’s always great to get together with a room full of motivated Democrats, but this tasty lead-in to the 2024 elections might have been the most important yet. We enjoyed hearing from our representatives! Thank you to all who helped and to Roy Zimmerman and Good Measure for providing entertainment!
