The Lake County Registrar of Voters has updated its website with important candidate filing information for the November 3, 2026 General Election.
The Candidate Filing Period, also known as the Declaration of Candidacy period, begins Monday, July 13, 2026, and closes Friday, August 7, 2026.
Prospective candidates should contact the Registrar of Voters and be prepared to submit required materials, including the Candidate Intention Statement (Form 501), Candidate Statement of Qualifications & Agreement Form, and any additional required documents before the deadline.
